Catch and Release Program

The Village of Orland Park is stocking many of our ponds with fish as a part of our stormwater management program. The stocking program is done primarily to improve the ponds’ ecosystem. Fish assist us in helping to control insects and unwanted aquatic vegetation. Fishing is allowed and encouraged at all our ponds, we simply ask that you abide by our “Catch and Release Policy.” Your help in following our “Catch and Release Policy” will ensure the long-term health and enjoyment of all our ponds.
