Rock Climbing Schedule

Due to Covid-19 and keeping in line with social distancing restrictions, "The Rock" climbing wall is currently closed. Please continue to follow us on social media and through the website as we monitor the situation and provide updates. 

The Sportsplex is thrilled to present a towering 32’ climbing rock, equipped with 8 ropes, 6 lead and 4 auto belays. We invite you to discover a new kind of fitness challenge that is fun for everyone 5 years and older. Hours do not apply during School Days Off.

Group Climbs

Get your friends, group or organization together and reserve your time at “THE ROCK”. By reserving it for a group climb, you are guaranteed exclusive use of the wall during that time. A minimum of 8 and a maximum of 20 climbers is required to reserve a time slot. Reservations must be made at least 10 business days in advance. Participants must wear closed-toe athletic shoes. Daily fees apply.

Climbing Rules
  • All climbers must check in at "Sports Central" each time they intend to participate in open climbs or classes.
  • Sports Central will provide you with a wristband which must be worn while climbing. Wristbands that have been removed are invalid.
  • Use during open climbs is accommodated on a first come, first served basis.
  • Bouldering is NOT permitted. The use of the climbing wall without the use of a top rope or auto belay is NOT permitted.
  • Staff will hook and unhook the auto belay ropes. The climber will not hook or unhook the auto belay themselves.
  • When descending the wall, climbers should push their feet flat against the wall to assure a safe descent.
  • Athletic shoes are required (no sandals, flip-flops, or open toe shoes).
