Recreation Department To Host "Cinderella's Ball"

The Village of Orland Park Recreation Department will host its 5th annual Cinderella’s Ball on Saturday, February 2. The event will be held at the Cultural Arts Center, 14760 Park Lane, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Cinderella’s Ball is a wonderful night to remember for parents and young children, age three and up, as the royal ball is recreated in an unforgettable experience. Special guests include Cinderella, Prince Charming, Sleeping Beauty, Belle and Snow White.

The evening includes dancing, with music provided by DJ Greg Carter. A host of delicious refreshments will be provided, including a chocolate fountain, catered by Heinie’s McCarthy’s.

Each child will have the chance to feel like a real princess or prince, when they create their very own customized tiara/crown during the event. And, everyone will receive a bag filled with goodies at the end of the night.

The event fee is $18.00 per person for residents, while the cost for nonresidents is $23.00 per person. Parents and their children should dress up for this special occasion. Wehmeier Portraits will be on site for individual and small group photos for an additional fee. Attendees should avoid wearing green clothes for the photos.
