ORLAND PARK, IL (August 21, 2020) -- The third annual Village of Orland Park Veterans Commission’s  Veterans Golf Classic is set for Tuesday, September 29 at Silver Lake Country Club in Orland Park.

“The tradition of a golf outing hosted by the Mayor of Orland Park dates back a long time,” said Mayor Keith Pekau. “I remember when Mayor Mel Doogan hosted ‘Doogan Day’ to raise money for the Recreation Department when I was a kid in the 70s.”

Golf only tickets are $120 per person and include 18 holes of golf, ½ cart, continental breakfast, and lunch on the course, on-course beverages and tee gift.

Dinner only tickets are $50 and include pre-dinner open bar and dinner.

Sponsorships are available, including a $250 hole sponsor on one course, a $350 continental breakfast sponsor, a $500 cocktail hour sponsor, an exclusive $750 wine pull sponsor, an exclusive $1,000 north course cart sponsor, a $1,000 lunch on the course sponsor, a $1,500 grand prize sponsor and a $5,500 presenting sponsor.

Proceeds from this year’s outing will benefit the Orland Park Veterans Commission, the American Legion Orland Memorial Post 111, the Reber-Tesmond Orland-Palos Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2604, and Veterans Voices.

“We invite everyone to enjoy a day playing golf for a great cause,” said Pekau. “The Orland Park community has always come together to give generously to veterans and the organizations that provide them support.”
