Taste of Orland Park - FAQs

What can I expect?

  • A three day festival (July 31, Aug, 1-2, 2020) packed with entertainment, delicious food, family activities and more!


Where is the Taste of Orland Park?

  • On the Orland Park Village Green; google address is 14700 S Ravinia Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462.


Is there an admission fee?

  • Nope. It’s FREE!


    Where can I park?

  • Please use the Parking Map for more detailed information, but parking is available at the following locations:
  • Recreation Administration building
  • People’s Bank (Fri-after 6pm; Sat- after 12pm; Sun- all day)
  • Orland Township
  • Orland Park Public Library
  • Village of Orland Park
  • High Point & Orland Park Jr. High Schools
  • John Humphrey Complex
  • Parking Garage off of 143rd St and Ravinia
  • ADA Parking is available at the Village Hall parking lot.


    Can I bring my pet?

  • We know pets love Orland Park’s finest food too, but to ensure a good experience for all our guests, we do not allow pets.


    Can I bring outside food and drinks?

  • Each guest is permitted only one (1) unopened, sealed water bottle; children are permitted unopened juice boxes.Empty, re-usable water bottles are allowed and can be filled at the Civic Center water fountain.


    Is there a cooling center?

  • Enjoy the complimentary AC at the Civic Center …and while you’re there pop in for Trivia!


    Can I bring my own chair?

  • Yes. If you plan on sticking around to listen to the awesome bands, bring out your own chairs to set up on the Village Green. Tents and tables are not permitted.


    Can I bring a backpack or large purse?

    Sure, if you don’t mind carrying it around all night. But, all backpacks, bags, purses, etc. are subject to search.


    Are there food/drink tickets?

  • All food and drinks are purchased with cash at the individual vendor booths. Need more cash?No worries, there is an ATM on-site.


    Is smoking permitted?

  • Smoking is NOT permitted on the event grounds, but is allowed outside the fenced event area.

    What items are prohibited from being brought onto the event grounds (Village Green) & school grounds (Kid’s Day & Car Show)?

  • No outside beverages (Except 1 unopened Water bottle per guest) & outside food, coolers, umbrellas, pop-up tents, tables, illegal substance & weapons


     
    Where is Kid’s Day & the Car Show?

  • Orland Park Junior High School grounds.Remember, school rules…. no smoking or alcoholic beverages on the school grounds.


    Is there a lost and found during the event?

  • Look for your lost items at the Recreation Information Tent located at the far North end of the Village Green.

What COVID-19 modifications have been made?

Yes, COVID-19 modifications have been made to ensure all attendees have a great and safe experience!  Modifications include:

  • Capacity limit of 2000 – 2400.
  • Expanded event footprint.
  • Increased number of hand washing stations.
  • Household seating pods in lawn areas.
  • One way aisles in restaurants rows.
  • Approximately 30’ between restaurant booths.
  • Restaurant lines will include social distancing ques.
  • Two main gates each with social distancing ques.
  • Capacity limit to Civic Center with one way in/out.
  • Gate staff will wear face shields and masks.
  • Event staff will wear masks when 6’ of social distancing cannot be achieved.
  • Porta-potties to be spread throughout grounds.
  • Amphitheater to have capacity limit, ushered seating, using every other row.
  • Frequent cleaning of high traffic surfaces (tables, civic center chairs, picnic tables, kids day games, etc.).
