REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS #20-008 

John Humphrey Complex Renovation – Phase II

The Village of Orland Park is requesting proposals from a Sports Facility Planning Firm to design, construct and perform all other services (design-build) necessary to implement improvements to an existing concession stand within a twenty (20) acre sports complex site. Proposals are due not later than 11:00 A.M. on March 13, 2020 submitted electronically through BidNet Direct.  Proposals will be opened and evaluated in private and proposal information will be kept confidential until an award is made.  The specifications are on file, available for inspection online on BidNet Direct at www.bidnetdirect.com/illinois/villageoforlandpark.

 

A pre-proposal meeting, at which attendance is optional, will be held on February 26, 2020 at 8:00 a.m., at John Humphrey Complex Concessions building, 14825 West Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462.

 

Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal, made payable to the Village of Orland Park, as a guarantee that the successful proposer will furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the executed Contract and proceed with the Project.  The successful proposer will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract price in accordance with the provisions stated in the Request for Proposals.

 

The President and Board of Trustees reserve the right to reject any and all proposals or parts thereof and to waive any informalities, technicalities and irregularities in proposing and to disregard all non-conforming, conditional or counter proposals.

 

Proposers must comply with all provisions of State of Illinois and federal laws concerning public works projects including but not limited to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, the State of Illinois Human Rights Act and the regulations of the Illinois Human Rights Commission.
