Other renewal options include by mail or in person at the Village Hall Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Extended hours are available on June 5th, 8:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m. and June 19th , 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Please allow 5 to 7 business days for delivery of vehicle stickers purchased online or by mail.

First-Time Seniors

Senior citizens who are 65 years of age prior to June 30, 1954 are eligible to purchase a vehicle sticker at a reduced rate. Two senior citizen vehicle stickers per household may be purchased if there are two household drivers age 65 or older. Vehicle stickers for first-time seniors may be purchased IN PERSON at the Village Hall, as a current driver's license is required at the time of purchase.

New Residents

New Village residents have 30 days from the date of residency to purchase a vehicle sticker at the regular rate; otherwise a penalty will apply. Vehicle stickers for new residents may be purchased IN PERSON at the Village Hall, as proof of residency is required.

New Vehicles

Residents who purchase new vehicles have 30 days from the date of purchase to obtain a vehicle sticker at the regular rate; after 30 days, a penalty will apply. Vehicle stickers for new vehicles may be purchased IN PERSON at the Village Hall, as proof of the purchase date is required.

If a new license plate is not received within 30 days from the vehicle purchase date, a resident should not wait for the new plate number, but rather indicate that the license has been "applied for." Once the resident has received the plate number, the resident should contact the Cashier's Office at (708) 403-6170 to record the license plate number. Failure to display a valid vehicle sticker subjects the resident to a possible citation.

Replacement Vehicles
Residents who change vehicles after having purchased a 2017-2019 vehicle sticker should remove the sticker from the current vehicle and bring it to the Cashier's Office with the bill of sale for the new vehicle. A new sticker will be issued for a transfer fee of $1.
